RESOLUTION NO: 2026-93
ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
MRD CHRIST LUTHERAN 2ND ADDITION FINAL PLAT
WHEREAS, Trade Level Construction ("Developer") has submitted application for final plat approval of the MRD Christ
Lutheran 2nd Addition Final Plat; and
WHEREAS, the legal description of the subject property ("Property") is attached as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Property is within the East Sewer District and guided for future Commercial land uses by the 2023
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Lot 1, Block 1 of the proposed final plat is zoned INS, Institutional District; and
WHEREAS, Lot 2, Block 1 of the proposed final plat is zoned B-1, Retail Business District; and
WHEREAS, the Developer is requesting approval of a Final Plat to be known as MRD Christ Lutheran 2nd Addition ("Plat") for
subdivision the Property into two lots; and
WHEREAS, an application for preliminary plat is processed in accordance with the provisions of Section 10-5-3 of the
Subdivision Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Request for Council Action dated 12 October 2026 prepared by the City Planner, The Planning Company
LLC, is incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the applications at its meeting on 12 October 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA THAT the final plat of MRD
Christ Lutheran 2°d Addition is approved based upon the foregoing information and applicable ordinances, subject to the
following conditions:
1. The developer shall execute a Development Contract as drafted by the City Attorney and subject to approval of
the City Council.
2. All easements shall be subject to review and approval by the City Engineer.
3. The developer shall pay Utility Connection Charges for the principal building on Lot 2, Block 1 at the time a building
permit is issued in accordance with the provisions of the City Code.
