RECOMMENDATION:
City staff are recommending the City Council adopt a resolution revising appointed Advisory Commission members.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff received notice of resignation of Parks and Recreation Commissioner Joe Tyberghein (term expiring February
28, 2029). City Staff is recommending the City Council accept the resignation of Mr. Tyberghein and appoint Jeremy
Willgohs, who is currently appointed to the alternate seat on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Mr. Willgohs’s
current appointed term will remain unchanged, to expire on February 28, 2030.

REVISIONS TO APPOINTED COMMISSIONERS OF THE
PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City has established a Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Joe Tryberghein resigned on September 15, 2026; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA
1. That the following removal and appointment are hereby made to the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Commission:
▪ Joe Tyberghein removed for the term expiring February 28, 2029.
▪ Jeremy Willgohs appointed to full member for the term expiring February 28, 2030.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 28th day of September, 2026.
