City staff is recommending the City Council approve the hiring of the Mechanic position.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Staff recommends the hiring of Noah Johnson for the Mechanic position in the Streets Department. Noah has accepted
the offer, and he has successfully passed the required background and drivers license check and drug screening.
Staff is recommending that he be hired at a Pay Grade 6, Step 1. It is anticipated Noah would start on October 12 th if
approved.
