AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City Staff are recommending City Council approval of Pay Application #4 to Traut Companies. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: The amounts requested in Pay Application No. 4 are consistent with the progress of work completed to date. The current payment request totals $211,310.97, representing 30.5% of the contract value completed or stored to date. The remaining balance to finish the project, including retainage, is $1,149,462.50. In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding 5% retainage on completed work. The retainage associated with this pay application totals $24,637.20. During this period, Change Order No. 1 was approved by the City Council at their meeting on August 24, in the amount of $374,476.80 to convert Well 13 from a Tunnel City-Wonewoc well to a Mount Simon well and to add an additional monitoring well.
