DECLARING CITY PROPERTY AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
AND AUTHORIZING DISPOSITION
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the following items no longer serve any useful City function; and

WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute §471.345, subd. 17 outlines a municipality may contract to sell surplus property using an
electronic selling process in which purchasers compete to purchase the surplus property at the highest price in an open and
interactive environment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has met to discuss and review the surplus property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the items listed above are hereby declared surplus City property.
2. That City staff are hereby authorized to proceed with the disposition of the City Hall property in accordance with
Minnesota Statute.
3. That City staff are hereby authorized to proceed with the sale of the Fire Department property in accordance with
Minnesota Statute.
