City staff recommend the City Council provide approval of an off-sale intoxicating liquor license.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff has received an off-sale intoxicating liquor license application, respective fees and necessary paperwork
from Costco Wholesale Corporation (dba Costco Wholesale #1743) at 11910 60th Street NE. The Wright County
Sheriff’s Office background investigation has been completed.
City Ordinance 4-1-8, F, 3. Administration of Licenses, Premises Under Construction states the City Clerk shall not
issue the license until notified by the building official that the building is ready for occupancy.
Pending approval, City staff will forward to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Gambling
Enforcement for their approval.

Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement approval; and issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy.
