The Planning Commission advises the City Council in matters relating to land use and development of the City. The
Planning Commission participates in establishment of the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision
Ordinance, and other development related policies and controls. The Planning Commission also reviews
development proposals, including conduct of public hearings when required by law, and makes recommendations
to the City Council.

judgment.
