AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommend the City Council approve hiring for the Election Specialists positions. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: City staff are recommending the hiring of three temporary employees to assist with election responsibilities. Staff are recommending the hiring of Michelle Becker, Renae Citrowski, and Robin Hille. These individuals will assist with the Primary and General Elections for 2026, and act in the capacity of election judges with additional responsibilities. Each of these individuals has undergone an interview and have successfully passed their background check. The Seasonal, Temporary & Part-Time Pay Plan outlines a range of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour for the Election Specialist positions.
