BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Coborn’s of Otsego continues to demonstrate its commitment to support community events and volunteer efforts
that enhance the quality of life in Otsego. In support of the City’s annual Clean-Up Day on May 2, Coborn’s has
generously donated $180 worth of food and chips for volunteers and staff participating in the event.
The City of Otsego greatly appreciates Coborn’s contribution, which helps support and recognize the volunteers who
dedicate their time to keeping the community clean and welcoming. Partnerships such as this contribute to the
success of community events and reflect the strong spirit of community involvement in Otsego.
The City thanks Coborn’s of Otsego for its generosity and support of this year’s Clean-Up Day.

RESOLUTION NO: 2026-45
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM COBORN’S
WHEREAS, Coborn’s has donated food valued in the amount of $180.00 to the City of Otsego; and
WHEREAS, the donation to the City of Otsego was in support of the volunteers and staff participating at the annual City Clean
Up Day on May 2, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations or real or personal property to be accepted only
with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks Coborn’s for their generous donation and for its support of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the food donation from Coborn’s valued in the amount of $180.00 has been hereby accepted.
