City staff recommends the City Council approve the hiring of a Recreation Leader.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
To support the Parks and Recreation Department responsibilities in Recreation, staff are recommending the hiring of
Morgan Dehn for the budgeted position of Recreation Leader. If approved, Morgan would assist with building
supervision and recreation programs as needed. Morgan has undergone an interview, reference inquiry, and
successfully passed a background check.
The Seasonal, Temporary & Part-Time Pay Plan outlines a range of $15.00 to $22.00 per hour for the Seasonal
Recreation Leader position.
