Call to Order.
This mee1ng was called to order at 7:02 PM.
Roll Call: Chair: Kelly Kiffmeyer; Commissioners: Brooke Nault, Toni Seroshek, Mar1 Carroll and Ch
ris Wilson. CM Tanner, CM Lund, City Planner Dan Licht.
Absent:

1.Consider Agenda Approval:
Commissioner Seroshek moKoned to approve the agenda as wriOen, seconded by Commissioner
Nault. All in favor. MoKon carried.
2.Consider the following minutes:
2.1 March 10, 2026
Commissioner Seroshek moKoned to amend the minutes as Belinda Spencer has passed and is buried
in the Otsego cemetery and thus cannot be a contact for addiKonal historical context. Seroshek
moKons to approve the minutes with this correcKon. Commissioner Wilson seconded. All in favor.
MoKon carried.
3.New Business
3.1 Summer NewsleSer-ar1cle feedback: Commissioner Seroshek men1oned OHPC has
pictures of the Old Iron Bridge being taken down. Commissioner Kiffmeyer will contact Heidi
to see if she has an updated version of the Old Iron Bridge for the newsleSer.
3.2 Holt family dona1ons: ornate clock, wooden wri1ng table, padlock with old keys and
poten1ally outboard motor. Commissioner Seroshek recommended Wright County Historical
Society. Commissioner Kiffmeyer will reach out to the Holt family to see if they can submit
some photos of the poten1al dona1ons to determine scale.
4.Old Business:
4.1 Time Capsule - Commissioner Nault shared all the collected items that will go into the
1me capsule. OHPC decided to get addi1onal photos of known Otsego landmarks such as
the elementary and middle schools, city hall and other known structures; cemetery tour
pictures. Commissioner Seroshek will take the reigns on geXng those landmark photos for
the next mee1ng. A few other ideas to implement is adding the Otsego High School survey
that recently went out and a current 2025 map of Otsego. Dan Licht will secure a 2025 map
and bring to the next mee1ng. Commission Nault cannot aSend May 12th mee1ng. OHPC
May date rescheduled to May 19th at 7pm.
4.2 Cemetery Tour
Commissioner Kiffmeyer hasn’t heard back from SOAR. She will reach back out within the

next week or two. Commissioner Carroll has a friend whose daughter is in SOAR and will
reach out to the about the best contact person to reach out to.
4.3 1914 Barn
Commissioner Wilson brought pictures. Commissioner Seroshek asked to get the whole barn
photo that replicates the photo that is in the book. Commissioner Wilson will ask John to
send files from his computer to Commissioner Seroshek.
4.4 2026 goals and projects
Commissioner Kiffmeyer is going to have some posts to put up on Facebook. She’ll have
more informa1on at next mee1ng. OHPC will start to go through inventory boxes at next
mee1ng.
4.5 FORUM Conference
July 22-26th. $350 registra1on. May 8th grant is due. Cer1fied local government designa1on.
Commitment is too much for one person. City Council will bring it up at the next mee1ng to
discuss the financial part of it. No ac1on will take place on cer1fied local government for
2026.
4.6 Fire sta1on display photos
Commissioner Seroshek will contact the Friedrich family to let them know about the sign
being used in the fire sta1on. Dan Licht will contact Nick and Kim about geXng the sign
printed. OHPC will meet at the fire sta1on on the 19th, 1 hour before the next mee1ng.
