City staff recommend the City Council approve the hiring of Seasonal Streets Maintenance positions.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
To support the Streets Department responsibilities in their maintenance efforts, staff recommend the hiring of Logan
Hendricks, Jeremy Lance and Owen Perry for the budgeted positions of Seasonal Streets Maintenance. Logan would be
returning for his second summer, and it would be the first summer for Jeremy and Owen. If approved, the employees
would assist with blacktop patching, roadside mowing, sign fabrication/installation and various other projects. Each has
undergone an interview and successfully passed a background check.
The Seasonal, Temporary & Part-Time Pay Plan outlines a range of $15.00 to $22.00 per hour for the Seasonal Streets
Maintenance positions.
