City Staff are recommending City Council approval of Pay Application #1 to Traut Companies.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The amounts requested in Pay Application No. 1 are consistent with the progress of work completed to date. The
current request totals $91,581.71, reflecting 7.8% of the contract value completed or stored to date. The remaining
balance to finish, including retainage, is $1,151,510.84.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding 5% retainage on completed work, which totals
$4,820.09 for this pay application.
During this period, no change orders were approved. Current changes represent a cumulative net change to a 0.00%
increase in overall project bid cost. A 5.0% contingency is included in the approved project budget and financing
package.

E.05: Sonic Department billed it out internally in a per foot unit instead of a cubic yard. I had to convert 204 feet at $25.00 per foot. I came up with 2.1473684 yards in
order to get the $5,100.00 math to work out.
