City staff recommend the City Council approval plans and specifications and authorize the bid process.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Plans and specifications have been completed for the 2026 Mill & Overlay Project. The attached project maps indicate
the streets included within this project, which have 2025 PCI Ratings between 54-60 indicating the need for the
project.
The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) includes $1,778,407 to fund this project, with the current engineer estimate of
project costs to be $1,619,077. Pending approval, City staff would anticipate bid results being presented to the City
Council in late February or early March.
The Public Works Subcommittee reviewed this item at their January 21, 2026, meeting and recommended
consideration of approval by the City Council.
