City Staff are recommending City Council approval of Change Order #2 and Pay Application #3 to C & L Excavating, Inc.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
This pay application includes payment for work completed to raise the PRV vault (see Change Order #2), including
forms and rebar for PRV vault riser, setting forms, pouring PRV vault riser, and stripping forms.
Change Order #2 adds items to raise the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) vault lid to match ground and allow drainage
to be routed around the vault, due to abrupt ground elevation differences from behind curb to vault location.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding the maximum of 5% retainage of work completed,
which amounts to $45,866.77 at this time.
