AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff are recommending City Council approval of Pay Application #2 and Change Order #2 for the 80th Street Trail Improvement Project. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: Pay Application #2 includes payment for salvaging signs, removing pipe culverts, sawing bituminous pavement, common embankment, wear course, constructing drainage structure design, concrete driveway and curb & gutter, and storm drain inlet protection. Change Order #2 adds payment for time and material to determine if potential drain tile existed where adjacent farmer stated one was located. In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding the maximum of 5% retainage of work completed, which amounts to $14,648.17 at this time.
