Call to Order.
Chair Kitty Baltos called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call: Commissioners: Stephanie McCool, Matt Danzl, Jessica Schaffer and Joe
Tyberghein.
Absent: Commissioners: Angie Dehn & Kurt Baldry
City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp, Council Members, Corey Tanner, and Ryan Dunlap.
Staff: Nick Jacobs, Parks and Recreation Director, and Connie Schwecke, Recreation
Supervisor.
1.Open Forum.
2.Consider Agenda Approval.
Commissioner Tyberghein motioned to approve the agenda. Seconded
by Commissioner Danzl. All in favor. Motion carried.
3.Consider Meeting Minutes.
3.1 July 15, 2025, Meeting Minutes.
Commissioner McCool motioned to recommend to the City Council to
approve the July 15, 2025, meeting minutes as written. Seconded by
Commissioner Tyberghein. All in favor. Motion carried.
4.Unfinished Business.
5.New Business.
5.1 Carrick’s Park Landing Grand Reopening.
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs welcomed the commissioners, council
members, and members of the public in attendance. Director Jacobs provided a
brief overview of the history of Carrick’s Landing and outlined the steps taken to
develop the amenities in this section of the park. In closing, Director Jacobs
expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the project, including the
commissioners and council members, for their dedication and support.
6.Parks and Recreation Update.
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs provided the Parks update and Recreation
Supervisor Schwecke provided the Recreation update.
7.City Council Reports.
City Council Member Tanner provided the City Council update.
8.Adjourn.
Commissioner Schaffer motioned to adjourn. Seconded by
Commissioner Tyberghein. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at
6:17 P.M.
